Installing the Extensions
The demo site for this template showcases a number of different modules that accompany the template. Most of these modules and the JB LIbrary plugin can be found in the free extension and club extensions folder in the Joomla Bamboo download area. The specific Joomla extensions used on the demo site include:
- the Micro Blog module
this module is published to the front page in the advert4 module position - the prettyBox module
we have used the pretty box module on the pages that highlight the themes and flower variations for this template. - the Extended Menu Module (Superfish Menu and Panel Menu)
the superficial menu is published to the menu module while the panel menu is published to the right position. - the JB LIbrary Plugin
- the jTweet module
the jTweet module is published to the bottom1 module position
Installing the modules.
- Navigate to your Joomla admin area at yoursite.com/administrator
- Navigate to Extensions > Install/uninstall
- Click browse and locate the extension zip on your hard drive. If the zip is named unzipfirst then you must unzip the files.
- Click upload and install.
- After you receive the success message, navigate to Extensions > Module Manager
- Select the radio checkbox next to the module you just installed and begin to configure the options.
- Ensure that the module is published, is assigned to a menu item on the bottom left and all of the necessary parameters are configured.
- Apply or save the changes you have made.
Installing the JB Library Plugin
Once you have installed this plugin please ensure that the plugin is published. You can do this by doing the following:
- Navigate to your Joomla admin area at yoursite.com/administrator
- Navigate to Extensions > Install/uninstall
- Click browse and locate the extension zip on your hard drive. If the zip is named unzipfirst then you must unzip the files.
- Click upload and install.
- Navigate to Extensions > Plugin Manager.
- Scroll to the system group of plugins and locate JB LIbrary.
- Select the checkbox to the left of the plugin name and scroll to the top right of the page and click publish.
This plugin inserts a script reference into the head of the template that loads jQuery to load and enables all of the jQuery driven effects on the site to work properly. For more information see the content item for the JB Library plugin.
